Alongside permanent and temporary exhibitions, our ever-changing family events programme includes themed workshops, crafts and story times (including relaxed sessions).

Nearest Bus Stop: Numerous buses stop along Fawcett Street, Borough Road and Burdon Road, all within two minutes’ walk of the Museum. These include Stagecoach buses 23, E1, E6 plus Go North East 33, 35 and 36.
Parking: The nearest pay and display car park is at the Civic Centre, approximately 200m from the Museum and Winter Gardens entrance, downhill along Burdon Road. Tatham Street open air car park is also close by.
