DURHAM CATHEDRAL

We love welcoming visitors of all ages to Durham Cathedral to experience 1000 years of history. Learn about the Northern Saints, explore the areas famously used as Harry Potter filming locations or let off steam in the surrounding riverbanks and woodland. Kids go free in Durham Cathedral Museum and the Tower.

Other facilities: Shop, café, family trails, Little Free Library and craft activities in school holidays.
Visiting times: Monday to Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday 12noon-4pm.
Prices: No admission charge. Donations welcome.
How to find us: Durham Cathedral, Durham DH1 3EH. There is no parking at the cathedral itself or nearby and there is a congestion charge if you drive onto the Durham City peninsula so we recommend using public transport to reach the city centre, such as the Cathedral Bus or Park and Ride schemes. Cycle racks also available.
