Arts Centre Washington is a multi-purpose arts centre housed in a converted farm providing a year-round programme of activities and performances suitable for all ages. From Little Movers to Washington Youth Theatre, the centre also houses a beautiful 120 seat theatre that stages small scale touring theatre and other family events.
Other Facilities Galleries and exhibitions, free car park, Café bar, changing facilities, breastfeeding friendly, artists’ studios, outdoor Courtyard seating area.
Prices: Admission to the centre and exhibitions is free. Family performances from £7 – family tickets are available. Classes and courses vary.

The centre is a short drive from both Sunderland and Newcastle and within walking distance from Fatfield Riverside and Washington Village. By car – short drive from both the A1 and the A19. By bus – No 2A, 4, 8, all drop you either outside or next to the Arts Centre.
