We celebrate the region’s rich history of glass making with an international exhibitions programme and tons of fun family activities. Enjoy ever-changing family glass making workshops, themed glass painting, fusing and printing. Plus feel the heat of a 1100 degree furnace at one of our free daily glass blowing demonstrations.
Other facilities: The Glass Yard with a riverside view is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and ‘Grab and Go’ takeaway food. The Centre is fully accessible with disabled toilet facilities, a lift to lower levels, free manual wheelchair hire facilities, guide-dog friendly, adult and baby changing facilities.
