Enjoy ever-changing family glass making workshops, themed glass painting, fusing and printing. Plus feel the heat of a 1100 degree furnace at one of our free daily glass blowing demonstrations.

Other facilities: The Glass Yard with a riverside view is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and ‘Grab and Go’ takeaway food. The Centre is fully accessible with disabled toilet facilities, a lift to lower levels, free manual wheelchair hire facilities, guide-dog friendly, adult and baby changing facilities.
Prices: Free entry. A charge applies to events and workshops.

Nearest Bus Stop: The E1 takes you from Sunderland City Centre to Roker Avenue, a few hundred metres from the main entrance. Free car park to the front of the building, accessible from Dame Dorothy Street.
