BERWICK MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY

A child sits astride a cannon. The entrance to the old museum is behind herBerwick Museum and Art Gallery is housed in England’s first barracks. Discover the sights and sounds of Old Berwick, learn about the town’s Middle Ages, enjoy the beautiful masterpieces from the magnificent Berwick Burrell Collection and make sure you see the recently purchased painting by L.S. Lowry, a regular visitor to the town. And everyone’s favourites learn about dragons!

Other facilities: Gift Shop. NB Due to the nature of the building, Berwick Museum and Art Gallery, the upper floor gallery is not fully accessible.
Prices: £5 adults, £4 concessions, 16s and under free. Pay once and enjoy unlimited visits. English Heritage members can visit for free.
Opening Hours: 1 April – 31 October, Wednesday – Sunday, 10am – 4pm (closed Monday and Tuesday). Open seven days a week during the school summer holidays.
